The Hawkwood Community Park is owned, operated, and maintained by the Hawkwood Community Association. It is NOT a city park. The HCP is free for all to use, but HCA members, as a membership benefit can book certain elements for their household's personal use, not larger groups. An HCA membership is only $30 per household per year.
The HCA is not accepting bookings for private events at this time. Currently, only HCA-sponsored events or programs are held at the Park, where HCA volunteer organizers must be on site to oversee them. Being a volunteer-led organization, the HCA currently does not have the capacity or the processes in place to approve or endorse bookings for private events at this time. Future changes to the booking process, if any, will be posted here.
Each day, Tennis Court 1 is available to book for tennis.
Pickleball Court 3 & 4 are available to book for pickleball.
This year members can book one court per day for up to 2 hours, and 4 times over a 2-week period.
If any of the courts are not booked, use is on a first come / first served basis (use any court for either game).
Pickle Ball Net Kits: Four kits (net, 4 racquets, balls) are available for HCA members to book and use. They will be onsite, please do not remove them from the park. Booking time is one hour.
Kits can be booked 14 days out, and you can book 4 times over a 2-week period.
The two Harvest Tables and BBQs are available to book for gatherings.
Booking time is max 3 hours and can be booked 60 days in advance.
If the tables are not booked, use is on a first come / first served basis.
**Note** right now the system will only allow you to book 14 days out, if you wish to book further out please email programs@hawkwoodca.com.
Fire pit and surrounding grass area:
Please email programs@hawkwoodca.com to book the fire pit.
Our boarded multi-purpose outdoor rink is available for use year-round. In the winter, ice time is scheduled to allow both hockey and recreational skating. During the rest of the year, the rink can be used for basketball (two courts with nets) and other activities.
Coming soon to the HCP - non-profit community organizations and groups will be able to book the “snack shack” to sell treats as a fundraising opportunity. To learn more about how this will work and if your group qualifies, email our program coordinator.
