Join HCA and sponsor Melissa Kost Realty this June 13 for our annual Parade of Garage Sales! Our community-wide event brings multiple households holding garage sales together on the same day. This is a great way to clear out your clutter, connect with neighbors, and attract more shoppers than a single sale could! This is also your chance to shop your local neighbours' treasures!
How It Works:
- Each participating household runs their own garage sale at their own property.
- We advertise the event as one big “Parade of Sales” to draw shoppers from nearby areas.
- A community map will be created showing all participating addresses.
- You keep 100% of your sales — no fees to join and open to members and non-members alike
What You’ll Need to Do:
- Sign up by June 5 at noon to receive a supplies kit and be included on the map *NEW THIS YEAR: Our supply kits will be DIGITAL! Reducing waste and extra items you don't need. Physical lawn signs will still be provided.
- On the day of the sale, set up your items, handle your own sales, and enjoy the crowds!
- We’ll provide a free lawn sign, and optional digital “seller kits” before the event if you sign up before June 5.
Who Can Sign Up:
- Anyone with a Hawkwood address! No membership required.
