The City of Calgary's Mobile Skate and Scoot is offering free skateboarding lessons at the Hawkwood Community Park to children aged 6-12 years, but you have to register to participate. To register for the August 19 session from 1-2 pm, do the following:

To register in-person, visit any City-operated ​Aquatic Recreation facility or Arts Centre during posted business hours.

*Participants must bring their own helmuts and skateboard. Knee and elbow protection is recommended*
